Kinstal SRL, operating the TechElite brand, attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect only the data needed for our services to work properly:

• Identity and contact data: last name, first name, address, e-mail, phone number;
• Order data: products ordered, delivery and billing address, purchase history;
• Payment data: processed directly by our secure payment providers; we do not store your bank details;
• Browsing data: through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

• Processing and delivering your orders, issuing invoices and providing after-sales service — legal basis: performance of the contract;
• Meeting our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: legal obligation;
• Sending you our newsletter, if you have consented — legal basis: your consent;
• Improving our site and services, and keeping them secure — legal basis: legitimate interest.

Your data is never sold. It may be shared only with the partners needed to fulfil your order:

• our secure payment providers;
• the carriers handling delivery;
• our site's hosting provider;
• our e-mail sending provider, where applicable;
• the competent authorities, where the law requires it.

• Order and invoicing data: kept for 7 years, in accordance with Belgian accounting legislation;
• Customer account data: until your account is deleted;
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe;
• Cookies: for the periods stated in our Cookie Policy.

Our site is hosted within the European Union. Some of our providers (payment, e-mailing) may process data outside the European Union; in that case, appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) govern those transfers.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure: secure connection (HTTPS), firewall, access control and regular backups.
