General terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: September 2026
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the „GTC”) govern all sales concluded on the website techelite.be between Kinstal SRL, operating the TechElite brand (hereinafter the „Seller”), and any person making a purchase on the site (hereinafter the „Customer”). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these GTC.
Article 1 — Scope
These GTC apply to all product orders placed on techelite.be. They prevail over any other conditions, unless the Seller has agreed otherwise in writing beforehand. The Seller reserves the right to amend them at any time; the applicable GTC are those in force at the time of the order.
Article 2 — Identity of the Seller
The site is published and operated by Kinstal SRL, a private limited company with its registered office at Oosterveldlaan 263, 2640 Mortsel (Belgium), company number 0803.264.918, VAT BE 0803.264.918. Full contact details and information: see our Legal notice.
Article 3 — Products
The Seller offers new and refurbished computer hardware as well as custom-built PCs. Refurbished products are professional devices that have been inspected, tested and restored, of grade A+ or A — the grade is stated on each product page — with a battery guaranteed at a minimum of 70% of its capacity and storage at a minimum of 80% of its lifespan. The Seller does not sell any hardware below grade A.
Descriptions, photographs and technical specifications are provided for guidance and as faithfully as possible. Slight variations in appearance, inherent to refurbished hardware, do not constitute a lack of conformity. Products are offered while stocks last.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (Belgian VAT of 21%). Any delivery costs are shown separately at the time of ordering and detailed in article 7. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the product is invoiced at the rate in force when the order is confirmed.
Article 5 — Orders
The Customer confirms the order after checking its contents. The order is confirmed by a summary e-mail. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a previous dispute, an obvious pricing error or unavailability of the product; the Customer is then informed and refunded where applicable.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is made online, fully secured, by Bancontact, payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), iDEAL, Klarna or bank transfer. The order is processed only after payment has been confirmed. For custom-built PCs, assembly starts once payment has been received.
Article 7 — Delivery
The Seller delivers to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In Belgium, home delivery is free for any order of €200 or more; below that amount it is charged at €9.99. Home delivery takes 48 to 72 hours. Express delivery in 24 to 48 hours is available throughout Belgium at €15.99, whatever the order value. Shipments to the Netherlands and Luxembourg are charged at €19.99, insured and signed for on delivery, and delivered within 48 to 72 hours. Pick-up at our office, in 1830 Machelen, is free with no minimum, by appointment. For any destination outside the Benelux, the Customer contacts the Seller: each request is looked at individually. Custom-built PCs, assembled and tested once ordered, are delivered within 7 to 14 working days.
Delivery times are given for guidance. A delay in delivery cannot give rise to damages. The risks relating to the product pass to the Customer upon receipt.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, a consumer Customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason.
To exercise it, the Customer informs the Seller of the decision by e-mail to support@techelite.be. The product must be returned complete, in its original condition and packaging, within 14 days of that notification. Return costs are borne by the Seller: a prepaid return label is sent to the Customer. The Seller also refunds any standard delivery costs paid; the supplement for express delivery is not refunded.
The right of withdrawal does not apply:
- to goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised, in particular custom-built PCs and personalised configurations;
- to software that has been unsealed or activated after delivery.
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the Seller refunds the Customer within 14 days of receiving the returned product and checking its condition.
Article 9 — Warranty
Laptops, desktops and tablets, both new and refurbished, come with a 2-year commercial warranty. Refurbished accessories and peripherals (docking stations, portable monitors, printers) come with a 1-year commercial warranty, the law allowing the legal warranty of conformity for second-hand goods to be reduced to a minimum of one year. Any goods sold as new keep, in all cases, the 2-year legal warranty of conformity, which cannot be reduced. The applicable period is stated on each product page. By way of exception, the battery, a wear part, is guaranteed for 6 months against any functional defect (it no longer charges, swells or no longer holds a charge at all); the gradual drop in its capacity through normal use is not covered. Consumer Customers also benefit from the legal warranty of conformity provided by Belgian law, which these conditions can neither exclude nor reduce.
The warranty covers any lack of conformity or functional defect found under normal conditions of use. It does not cover:
- normal wear of the hardware (in particular the gradual wear of the battery);
- damage resulting from improper use, a drop, an impact, liquid or an unauthorised modification;
- damage caused by software installed by the Customer or by the intervention of a third party.
To make a warranty claim, the Customer contacts the Seller at support@techelite.be , describing the problem encountered.
Article 10 — Returns & refunds
Any return (withdrawal or warranty) requires the Seller's prior agreement, and the Seller provides the procedure to follow. The product must be properly protected for transport. Refunds are made using the same payment method as the one used for the order.
Article 11 — After-sales service & complaints
Any question or complaint can be sent to support@techelite.be or by phone on +32 451 04 77 02. The Seller undertakes to handle every request as quickly as possible.
Article 12 — Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the product, nor for the loss of the Customer's data. It is up to the Customer to back up data before any repair or reinstallation. The Seller's liability is in any event limited to the amount of the order concerned.
Article 13 — Personal data
The Customer's personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 14 — Applicable law & dispute resolution
These GTC are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact the Seller first in order to seek an amicable solution.
Failing that, a consumer Customer may turn to the Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) or to the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). If no amicable solution is found, the Belgian courts alone have jurisdiction.
